Freyaa aims to ensure that your journey through pregnancy and motherhood is as smooth as possible, and in line with your choices and needs. As a doula my work centres around giving you the most comfortable and safe space possible as you navigate through labour and the postpartum. My approach is openness, informed and centered around your person.

The process of pregnancy and birth can be life-changing and overwhelming to various extents and depending on what happens in your life and health as you navigate through this journey. As your doula, I provide you with the support you need, being a grounding presence, a soundboard, an advocate and ensuring you emotional support and comfort, where needed and possible.
My most important role is to contribute to you having a calm and as positive experience as possible, whilst in labour. As such, it is important that we can work well together and build a link of comfort and trust. Before booking me as your doula, I always offer a free first call, for us to get to know each other and get a feel of whether I am the right doula for you.
Freyaa’s services
The postpartum period, or fourth trimester, often requires just as much care as pregnancy and birth. Through the postpartum packages, I can provide you with the help needed to ensure you get some rest and recovery, emotional support and increased wellbeing.
Each family’s and every mother’s needs are different.
If you feel that you would prefer a more regular contact during your pregnancy, for emotional support, guidance, an extra presence and a more individualised care, the concierge services are intended for you.
The concierge service can include regular walks or visits, accompaniment to appointments, phone call check-ins, planning pregnancy activities and purchases.
To start, please book a free meeting for us to discuss your needs, and set a plan. Based on the services tailored to your needs, I will subsequently send you a service plan and quote for the bespoke package.
Who
we are
Freyaa is run by me, Sandra, a Swedish doula of Ghanaian background. My experience as a doula comes from Sweden, where I have supported mothers in giving birth naturally, through planned caesarians, emergency caesarians or with a selection of desired pain relief. I have helped women with uncomplicated pregnancies, risk births, single mothers, families and mothers who are new to the country.
